Perk Up for the Holidays with Nespresso
During the holidays, I find coffee becomes even more of a necessity for me than usual. It widens my eyes in the early hours of the day as I groggily make breakfast for my son. It recharges me in the afternoon, enabling me to power through playtime, dinner and bath time, with energy to spare once my son is asleep. How else would I be able to turn my dining table into a Santa’s workshop-worthy wrapping station, stocked with enough ribbon and wrap to impress any elf.
Though I love the ritual of making espresso, I find myself more pressed for time around the holidays, which doesn’t leave room for a leisurely coffee break. I need a quick and simple pick-me-up. Thankfully, my does all that. And more. Its easy-to-use design makes foolproof espresso, perfect every brew. Drop in a capsule, press a button, and voila! The perfect cup of coffee. Fancy a latte? So glad you asked. The Aeroccino attachment froths milk to an almost whipped consistency, and to three different temperatures, depending on preference. It’s simply brilliant.
If you’re entertaining guests this season and plan to have coffee available, a Nespresso machine will be your new best friend. You won’t have to grind beans, set any timers, boil water, or tamp grounds. Having the ability to direct your guest to the machine will save you time, energy and messy clean-up. With an array of flavors and intensities, there’s a Grand Cru for everyone, even vanilla and decaf capsules. Your overnight guests can brew their favorite coffee drink in the mornings, and be entertained by the novelty of making a cappuccino all on their own. Nespresso is sure to come in handy for any evening cocktail parties as well. Perk up those designated drivers with a small cup of joe before they hit the road. And pull an espresso for yourself to power through all that late-night cleanup.
If you live in the Los Angeles area and are a coffee-lover, you should make a date to visit the brand-new Nespresso Boutique in Beverly Hills. Jenn and I attended the grand opening, and it is truly a sight to behold. Stocked with gorgeous machines and towers of coffee capsules stacked sky-high, you can watch a demonstration, learn more about the Grand Cru blends and sip a sample. Or, take a seat in the cafe with a macchiato and treat yourself to a pastry while you rest during holiday shopping.
