In honor of St. Patty’s Day, I want to share with you the wonders of making Irish Cream. Homemade Irish Cream is decadent and delicious with a real whiskey kick. I promise you, Baileys will never taste the same again. You can put this in your coffee, drink it from a chilled glass, or bottle it and share it with your friends. It is the very definition of adult chocolate milk.
1 1/4 cups Irish Whiskey (I used Bushmills)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp espresso powder
1 tsp almond extract
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp honey
Put everything in a blender and mix it all up.
Refrigerate and let the mixture sit for at least an hour to let the flavors meld.
Shake vigorously before serving.
It should keep for two months in the refrigerator.
