Since moving back to Los Angeles, my home office consists of a jumble of mismatched furniture and overgrown piles of paperwork. (I hope nothing else is growing in there. Ew. Pretend I didn’t write that). Like most of us, I haven’t had the time to sit back and give my workspace the undivided attention I would like to, but luckily for me, there’s Pinterest, a place where all my dreams can come true without having to put in the work. So, behold the inspiration for an office I would create if I only had the time. (Money. Energy. Magical Unicorn Glitter Dust.)
This is Miranda Brooks’ office, as profiled by A Lovely Being. My office is similarly shaped, long with one big window at the far end, although it lacks the character details of the brick and exposed beams. Instead, my place is more streamlined and modern, but I could achieve a similar more spruced-up vibe with a few key pieces.
